“ The location of this place is beautiful with the view of Dow’s Lake from the patio. The service was great; very attentive and was adhering to all social distancing guidelines. Everything we had was tasty, however the crab spring rolls and the fried chicken sandwich were memorable! Will definitely be returning. ”
“ One of the best burger spots in Ottawa! I keep coming back for their delicious burgers and sweet potato fries. Went during the Tulip Festival—busy with about a 1-hour wait, but totally worth it. The guava ginger mocktail was refreshing, and the patio views of the lake with kayaks and seagulls were beautiful. The atmosphere was perfect for a spring day. Great food, friendly service, and clean bathrooms. Highly recommend! ”
“ Went for dinner (Groupon) tonight. Our first time trying and I must say it was an excellent meal. I can see why this place would be a great hit in the summer months with the patio open. The view of the lake was great. We had the privilege of being there from daylight to when it became dark. It took on a real cozy yet romantic feel when it got dark outside. The food was awesome! Everything tasted great! I don’t have a photo of the rosemary bread here but it was scrumptious! We couldn’t finish it all (brought home some chicken for another day). Thank you for a lovely meal and I am already looking forward to going back in the summer to enjoy the patio! ”

“ Visited on the weekend and had a really lovely time in this absolutely break-taking spot on Dow’s Lake The view is beautiful and the patio is well covered and gorgeous at twilight. Our server was a little distracted to start, but she came around and we really enjoyed her near the end of our service. The gnocchi dish was good, though I can’t say I’ve ever had peas in my gnocchi! Good drink menu and the burgers were to die for (according to friends). Would love to come back after going out on the lake one day! ”

And the gigantic beef nachos plate was absolutely delicious. I would recommend sharing; otherwise, it seems like way too much for one. Great location with large terrace overlooking Dows Lake. ”
“ The food is delicious. One of the best spicy fried chicken sandwiches in the city. Crispy with a good kick (if you choose to add spicy). We didn't realize how big the side curly fries was until it arrived. We each ordered a side and we could have probably shared between two people generously. Probably the best curly fries I've had though so I can't complain! The service was friendly but a little slow on Saturday afternoon. Love that parking cross the street is validated by Umbrella Bar :-) ”
